I did not sell it, but gave it away with the expressed hope that recipients would contribute to a fund destined for Ronald McDonald House which provides accommodation for the parents of patients in children’s hospitals.

Ten years ago Sylvie Allison, daughter to Mike and Sandeep and granddaughter to Lincoln and Ann, spent eleven weeks in the hospital and the whole family became aware of the importance of the RM House as a place where the parents of sick children can stay to be near their children. We became acutely aware of the need for such accommodation during this time. It is not funded by the NHS, but requires charitable gifts.
